Cheese Bread
8 to 12 ounce Swiss or Monterey jack or Muenster cheese
1
loaf French bread
½ pound
margarine
2
tablespoons dried onions
½ teaspoon
garlic salt
1-tablespoon
mustard
Melt
margarine in saucepan; add onions, garlic salt and mustard, and stir together.
Slice
bread into ½ to 2 inch slices, cutting almost all the way through.
Slice
cheese and stuff cheese between slices.
Place
bread on aluminum foil and pour butter over top.
Cover
with the foil and bake at 300 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
